WE ARE OUTLAWS & MOONSHINE
Outlaws & Moonshine, based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, delivers a powerful brand of whiskey-soaked Southern rock.
The band formed in 2015 by brothers Beau Van (guitar/vocals) and Chris Van (bass). The chemistry of their sound was fully formed with the addition of Eric Piper on drums. Inspired by classic Southern rock bands including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, and the Allman Brothers, the band quickly took the scene by storm. Their debut, “1919,” gained global attention from thousands of fans. The band received a great deal of national press and has shared the stage or provided direct support to Jackyl, Colt Ford, David Allan Coe, Kentucky Headhunters, Drowning Pool, Smile, Empty Soul, Moonshine Bandits, Saving Abel, Saliva, Bret Michaels, and Wayland. Outlaws & Moonshine was featured on the cover of ION Magazine and earned great reviews from top Rock Media/News webzines. The band’s debut videos, “Whiskey” and “Hey Y’All,” garnered over 100,000 views.
"1919" and "Devil in the Moonshine" were mixed by producer Vic Rivera at Red V Studios in New York. These songs come at you with an outlaw cowboy attitude, delivering infectious choruses, energy, and raw talent. “Devil in the Moonshine” is a balance of the classic old school rock that made American music famous in the 70’s and the more melodic country rock of today. Following the success of both "1919" and "Devil in the Moonshine," the group is focused on completing their latest project, produced by Dalton VanVolkenburg, to be released in Fall 2022.
Dubbing their brand of music "New Southern Rock," Outlaws & Moonshine is less concerned with following trends than they are with staying true to their craft and musical roots and having a good time, because all the rest is just a bunch of bullshit.
